In early 2007, GM switched from using oil drain plugs with a magnetic tip to drain plugs without. The obsolete part number for the OEM version is 88891787. These pop up on ebay from time to time. The threads are M12 X 1.75. These are also available from the aftermarket, e.g. the Dorman 090-936CD.

A magnetic oil drain plug will pick up ferrous metal particles that are smaller than your filter can trap as well as those that it can trap. Since I don't always cut my filters open they give me a quick check for junk that might be in the oil.
The Corvette oil filler cap (GM 12555685) is embossed with the
Mobil 1 logo and is interchangeable with the cap on the CTS-V's
LSA.
I used Dupli-Color Paint matte
black (BCP105) brake caliper paint.
The solution is to put a piece of tape over contacts inside the remote.
My car came with RPO 53F (suede steering wheel). I'm pretty sure the "suede" used on the steering wheel and shifter was actually Alcantara. Both looked great when I bought it but it was a Certified Pre-Owned Cadillac and I think both the wheel and shifter had been replaced by the dealer because they looked new and a few years later they looked horrible and I decided to replace them with the ebony leather version.
There are many CTS steering wheel part numbers. They vary
by color, transmission type, heated seats, paddle shifters, etc.
I told my dealer I was switching from suede and wanted the leather
wheel for a manual transmission, ebony interior and Recaro seats
(which implies heated seats). I ended up with a 22982693 steering
wheel and 25858072 shifter.
