Having plans to eventually do some PCM tuning, I bought a copy of LS1_Edit. It seemed like the best option at the time. But there are a number of significant drawbacks with the product. Their poor customer support is legendry. Reading the PCM can take upwards of 20 minutes. And they now charge for software updates.
If you're thinking about getting a scan tool or a flash tool, you will do well to take a closer look at EFILive's FlashScan tool.
I no longer have my LS1_Edit interface (the nice folks at EFILive let me trade it in for a FlashScan upgrade!)
